Since 2006 Brian Shimkovitz spreads undiscovered music treasures from Africa through his cult followed blog Awesome Tapes From Africa. For Cahartt Radio he introduces more unheard music from South of the Sahara ranging from Hiplife Gyil and Highlife sounds to African traditionals, Pop, and electronic music.
